A recent study shows that olive leaf extract may be an effective way to lower blood pressure naturally.
All the participants in the study were twins and the participants were split into two groups. The first had one sibling on a placebo and the other on 500 milligrams of olive leaf extract a day and the second had one sibling on 500 milligrams and the other on 1000 milligrams of olive leaf extract. Those on the 1000 milligrams daily saw an 11 point systolic drop in 8 weeks while the changes in the other categories were considered not to be statistically significant.
